Midfielder Sasa Lukic is set to start on the bench for Torino when they face Inter in Serie A this evening, due to having only just recovered from a flu virus.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 25-year-old is likely only ready to make the bench, whilst several of his teammates will miss out on the match entirely due to the flu virus.

The Granata’s squad has recently suffered from a wave of players falling ill with flu symptoms, and coach Ivan Juric will have some decisions to make as to who can be called upon to play from the start against Inter.

Lukic is likely to only be ready to start on the bench, and so January signing Samuele Ricci should take his place in midfield in the starting eleven.

Meanwhile, the likes of Magnus Warming, David Zima, and goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic are all set to miss out on the match, with Etrit Berish set to start in goal in place of the latter.
