Inter believe that midfielder Marcelo Broovic will be back from injury in time for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri have not scheduled any further tests for the 29-year-old, whose recovery they do not expect to take long.

Brozovic missed out on yesterday evening’s Serie A clash with Torino, where his team drew 1-1 in his absence, and the team will be hoping that he can make a speedy return in time for next weekend’s home fixture against Fiorentina.

The midfielder is currently resting as are all his teammates, but he should be back in training tomorrow where he will train on his own, and the club are hoping that he can be back in full training by Thursday.

Meanwhile, Stefan de Vrij is not expected to be back in action against La Viola, as he will take longer to recover from his own muscle injury.
