Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is one of the candidates that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are considering to replace Mauricio Pochettino should the Argentine be sacked.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who name the Nerazzurri coach among the Parisians’ list of options, with the favourites being Juventus boss Max Allegri and Zinedine Zidane, last at Real Madrid.

Pochettino looks to be hanging on by a thread after he saw PSG eliminated from the Champions League round of sixteen by Real Madrid, relinquishing a 2-0 lead on aggregate to go out by a scoreline of 3-2.

The Ligue 1 leaders are reportedly considering Allegri and Zidane as the two foremost candidates to replace the former Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur boss, but the likes of Inzaghi, Antonio Conte, and Thiago Motta are also in their thinking.

Behind these, the likes of Nice coach Christophe Galtier, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, Ajax coach Erik ten Hag, and former Borussia Monchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre are also reportedly in the running.
