Inter are set to announce the extension of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic’s contract in the coming days with the bureaucratic issue with his representation wrapped up.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will make the announcement official some time prior to Saturday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina.

The agreement has been all in place some time between the Nerazzurri and Brozovic on a new deal, but the official announcement has reportedly been pushed back due to a bureaucratic issue.

The family lawyer who has been representing the midfielder throughout the negotiations since the middle of last November is not officially registered as an agent with the Italian FA, meaning that the club have been unable to officially finalize the new deal.

However, the player has chosen Australian-Croatian agent Nikola Mandic as his representative for the official agreement, and the club will announce the new contract very soon.
