Inter could decide to fine midfielder Arturo Vidal for comments made yesterday that he could decide to leave to join Brazilian giants Flamengo.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 34-year-old’s future looks to be more and more away from the Nerazzurri, especially after the indiscretion yesterday.

Vidal spoke to Chilean broadcaster TYC Sports, where he admitted that he has ambitions to join Flamengo and could do so as early as at the end of the season.

The Chilean had already been linked with a move away from Inter last summer, and the club have a clause by which they could terminate his contract at the end of the season by paying him a severance fee.

After his recent remarks, it looks likelier than ever that Inter and Vidal will part ways at the end of the current campaign, though the club are still considering whether or not to fine him for the comments.
