Inter’s postponed Serie A clash with Bologna will not be played for another few weeks at least, until the end of April or the beginning of May.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the exact date for the postponed fixture remains up in the air as the bureaucratic appeals process drags on.

Inter have until the 24th of this month to present their appeal to have the decision to have the fixture postponed rather than awarded as a 3-0 to the Nerazzurri reversed, thirty days after the decision was made last month.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly leaning towards making the appeal, and this will mean that the appeals process could still go on for another several weeks.

Accordingly, Inter’s game in hand against the Rossoblu, a major asterisk to the standings at the top of the Serie A table for the moment, won’t be played until the end of next month at the earliest.
