Inter could turn to the likes of Joaquin Correa and Robin Gosens  as the two wild cards to give them an extra dimension in the vital last ten matches of the Serie A season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who name the pair as players with unique qualities which can give the Nerazzurri something which they’ve lacked through their recent run of poor form.

Inter have largely played the same formation and style of play as they have all season during the last few weeks, and it has not looked quite as effective as it had earlier in the campaign, resulting in just two wins from their last eight matches in Serie A.

Tuttosport argue that the solution to this problem is to rely more on contributions from players with characteristics that opponents will not be prepared for.

Correa is fully fit after missing spells of the campaign with injuries, and the 27-year-old has a style of play unique from the rest of the Nerazzurri’s attacking options, mostly reliant on dynamic dribbling.

Giving the Argentine more playing time could be a way for the Nerazzurri to unlock teams’ defensive structures when their usual patient ball circulation is not resulting in many good chances.

Meanwhile, January signing Gosens is also now closing in on a return to full match fitness after missing February through a long-term injury, and he could also give the Nerazzurri something different.

Gosens has showed flashes in his substitute appearances for Inter already, but if he is used more from the start, the German could play at the level he did during his time at Atalanta, and this could be enough to push the Nerzzurri over the line.
