Inter are not at all happy with the remarks made by midfielder Arturo Vidal recently in which he stated that he’d welcome a move to Brazilian giants Flamengo.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the club are “furious” after the outburst and considering a hefty fine against the player to make their point.

Vidal made comments to TNT Sports on Monday that he is flattered by the interest of Flamengo, admires the club and would like to make the switch to the Brazilian team, possibly as early as this summer.

The Nerazzurri feel that these remarks are inappropriate in view of the fact that the 34-year-old remains an Inter player, at least until the end of the current campaign.

A summer exit looks all but certain for the Chilean, with the club possibly set to terminate his contract by paying a severance payment, but they still feel that his comments were out of line.
