Inter have three players who are one booking away from suspension, in the form of defender Alessandro Bastoni, striker Lautaro Martinez, and midfielder Arturo Vidal.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who highlight how the trio would each miss the team’s Serie A clash with Juventus should they receive a yellow card against Fiorentina on Saturday.
Inter have a number of important matches on the way in Serie A, with this weekend’s clash with La Viola set to be one of their most difficult remaining fixtures on paper given the Tuscans’ place in the table.
Then, after the international break, the Nerazzurri will face Juventus in another match which could prove to be pivotal in the Serie A title race.
Should any one of Bastoni, Martinez, or Vidal pick up a yellow card in Saturday’s match, then they will be forced to serve a suspension when the team faces the Bianconeri.
