Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic trained separately from the rest of the Inter team on Thursday suggesting his injury may not be healing, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
As has been reported by Sky Sport today, via FCInternews, the Croatian midfielder carried out a separate training program to the rest of his teammates as he is not physically able to train with everyone else.
This does not bode very well for Inter and Simone Inzaghi who were hoping to have him back in the starting eleven for the game against Fiorentina on Saturday evening.
He has a calf problem that was picked up in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Liverpool at Anfield.
He was subbed off in that game and was not able to face Torino last weekend. His absence was notable in Inter’s performance as they only managed to get a 1-1 draw in Turin.
