Inter striker Edin Dzeko has become not just a goalscorer for the Nerazzurri since arriving from Roma last summer, but also a source of goals for his teammates.

The Bosnian has made a total of five assists this campaign, showcasing his range of passing and his vision and awareness for the game.

As football statistics account Opta pointed out in a tweet, he is the second-oldest player to have hit this number in European football, after Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.

Their tweet reads, “5 – Edin Dzeko is the second-oldest player to have delivered at least five assists in the big-5 European leagues this season, behind Luka Modric. Wise.”
