Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal is likely to start the match against Fiorentina on Saturday as Inter do not want to risk Marcelo Brozovic’s fitness, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Croatian’s condition does not seem to have improved in the way that the Inter coaches hoped it would during the week.

Arturo Vidal is the natural replacement in the midfield but Simone Inzaghi may use Hakan Calhanoglu in Marcelo Brozovic’s central role and play Arturo Vidal to the side of him.

Danilo D’Ambrosio is expected to start the game in defence in place of Stefan de Vrij who is also injured for the match on Saturday.

There is a chance that Robin Gosens will get his first start for Inter by taking the place of Ivan Perisic on the left wing. Alexis Sanchez has a small chance of starting the game.
