Former Inter director Marco Branca has said that the Nerazzurri, AC Milan, and Napoli are all operating at the same level right now, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, via FCInternews, Marco Branca took stock of the current Serie A title race which his former team are right in the midst of.

He feels that the three teams at the top of the Serie A table, AC Milan, Napoli, and Inter, are all playing at exactly the same level right now and the closeness of the table shows that.

“All three are on the same level. Napoli were affected by injuries and a few drops in tension. The ranking also respects the characteristics of the top three, which are similar.”

AC Milan are top right now and Napoli are three points behind them. Inter are one point further back than Napoli but the Nerazzurri have still got a game in hand.

Marco Branca then explained that at this stage in the season, the games against relegation-threatened sides are the hardest games to win.

“In this period those who play against teams that need points for salvation risk more. So I think that the more difficult matches will be those of Milan and Naples, against Cagliari and Udinese.”
