Inter are contemplating a move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic as a replacement for Stefan de Vrij if he leaves the club, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serbian defender is a player that Inter have always kept a very close eye on, along with many other top Italian teams.
He extended his contract by one year last season but that is not expected to happen again. His deal runs out in 2023 so the club will be looking to get a transfer fee for him this summer.
Stefan de Vrij is being linked with a move away from Inter in the summer and Nikola Milenkovic is viewed as a viable replacement.
Inter expect him to cost around €15 million and to demand a wage of €2.5-3 million per season. They are attractive numbers for a talented 24-year-old who plays consistently.
