Inter defender Robin Gosens has said that his reaction to making the transfer to Inter was to have a big bottle of beer, according to a report in the media.

Speaking during a quickfire interview with 433, the German wing back was asked what his first reaction was to making the transfer to Inter from Atalanta at the end of the January transfer window.

His response was: “Drinking a big bottle of beer.”

Since making the move he has been limited to substitute appearances but there is a chance he will make his first start against Fiorentina on Saturday evening.

When asked to name three Inter legends he chose: “Lothar Matthaus, Javier Zanetti, and Andreas Brehme.”

As for his best friend in the football world, he said: “Joshua Kimmich” who plays for Bayern Munich.

Denzel Dumfries was the first person that he tackled in training with Inter when he joined the club and to describe Serie A in one word, he said: “Emotion.”

His favoured formation out of 4-4-2 and 4-3-3 is the latter and the funniest person he knows is either his dad or Atalanta wingback Hans Hateboer.
