Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi is Simone Inzaghi’s first choice target for the Inter midfield next season, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the young Italian midfielder is a player that Simone Inzaghi greatly admires and wants to have in his Nerazzurri squad.

One issue with signing the player from Sassuolo is that 30% of any transfer fee that the Neroverdi receive for him will go to his former club, AS Roma.

For that reason, Sassuolo are likely to raise the price of the player to make sure they get an amount of money to keep that they think is reasonable for a player of his quality.

Davide Frattesi actually signed a new contract at Sassuolo yesterday but this is not thought to mean that he is staying at the club next season. It is likely there to protect his value.
