Inter defender Stefan de Vrij has no been called up to the Dutch national team squad by Louis Van Gaal as he is injured but Denzel Dumfries is involved, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, Louis van Gaal has decided not to take a chance on the fitness of Stefan de Vrij who is set to miss his second Inter game in a row through injury.

He sustained an injury against Liverpool in the Champions League last week and that led to him being absent for the 1-1 draw with Torino at the weekend.

He is also going to miss tomorrow’s Inter match against Fiorentina at San Siro although he should recover soon after.

One Inter player will be in the Netherlands squad though and that is wing back Denzel Dumfries who has found some form at Inter in recent weeks after a slow start.
