Serie A Referee Daniele Chiffi will take charge of his third Inter game when Fiorentina travel to San Siro this evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the Italian referee was in charge of Inter’s recent disappointing draw with Genoa at the Marassi.

The other game that he was in charge of was the win against Empoli at the Stadio Carlo Castellani on October 27.

Inter’s overall record with the referee from Padua is seven victories and three draws. They will be hoping to make that eight victories on Saturday evening as it will be vital to their Serie A title hopes.

Inter are now four points behind AC Milan but they do have a game in hand over the Rossoneri. Their destiny is no longer in their own hands which will be a serious concern to Simone Inzaghi as the season draws to a close.
