Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, Ajax’s Sebastien Haller, and Lille’s Jonathan David are Inter’s main targets for a young striker during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are plotting to sign one of the trio to build their attack around this summer.

The Nerazzurri have been in talks about bringing Scamacca in for some time, but there has been no movement in recent weeks, whilst city rivals AC Milan have also emerged as contenders for his signature.

Scamacca is still a major target, however, whilst Inter are also stepping up talks for Haller, who could cost more than €35 million, possibly more in the region of €40 million, to sign from Ajax.

The Nerazzurri will meet with the Ivorian’s agents towards the end of the month during the international break to see how feasible a move for him is.

Meanwhile, Lille’s David remains a target as well, though signing the young Canadian could be more difficult due to interest in him from Premier League clubs, with Arsenal especially keen.
