More than 55,000 spectators are expected to be at the San Siro for this evening’s Serie A clash between Inter and Fiorentina.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the stadium will nearly be sold out to the maximum allowable 75% capacity for this evening’s match.

Pandemic-related restrictions on capacity remain in effect for stadiums in Italy, with clubs still only allowed to host fans at 75% of their stadiums’ capacities, meaning that for the San Siro the limit is around 57,000.

This number of tickets has not quite been sold out for this evening’s match, but the total amount sold has come close, at around 55,000 according to Tuttosport.

This evening’s clash with La Viola is virtually must-win for the Nerazzurri in the Scudetto race, and they can expect an atmospheric home support urging them on as they go in search of three points to put the pressure back on AC Milan and Napoli.
