Robin Gosens is set to start on the bench for Inter in this evening’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina, with Ivan Perisic set to return to the starting eleven.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the German will have to wait a little longer for his first start in a Nerazzurri shirt.

Gosens has appeared as a substitute in each of Inter’s matches since he made his debut off the bench in their Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against AC Milan at the beginning of the month.

The 27-year-old also bagged an assist in his Serie A debut against Salernitana, though he has yet to make his first start for the team after joining in the January transfer window.

Gosens is still being eased into the starting eleven after only coming back from a long-term injury at the beginning of this month, and according to the Corriere, the in-form Perisic will still be trusted with the starting place against La Viola.
