Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca remains Inter’s main target in attack for the summer transfer window despite reported interest in Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri remain focused on signing Scamacca even though they are thinking about the opportunity to bring in Zapata.

Inter have been working to bring in Scamacca as a player to build the attack around for the future for some time, and even though they have not made any progress in recent weeks, the priority has not changed.

The club are also monitoring Zapata as a possible signing given that the 31-year-old could be easier to bring in than he was last summer when their attempt to sign him as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku failed.

The Nerazzurri are ready to reignite their pursuit of Zapata, but he is not their first choice and Scamacca remains their main goal in attack.
