Inter could reignite their pursuit of Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata from last summer if he is available for a low fee.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri would likely be able to agree a deal with La Dea for the 31-year-old this summer.

Zapata had been one of the Nerazzurri’s major targets to bolster their attack after the sale of Romelu Lukaku, but he was deemed to be non-transferable by Atalanta except for a very sizable offer.

The situation could be different this summer, however, with the Bergamo-based club possibly ready to move on from the Colombian who has missed much of 2022 through injury.

Meanwhile, the player could welcome the change of scenery, having also reportedly been very open to making the switch last summer.

Zapata does not look to be the Nerazzurri’s first choice in attack, but for the right price they could find an agreement with Atalanta for him.
