Inter’s squad will be back in training on Tuesday, with coach Simone Inzaghi having cut short the time off initially given to the players given the team’s recent slump in form.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri coach wants to get back to working with his players as soon as possible ahead of the Serie A clash with Juventus after the break.

Many of Inter’s players will be away with their national teams during the international break, but for those squad members who are staying with the team, the coach had initially given them a three-day period to take time off.

However, the situation at the team has been a difficult one given that the Nerazzurri have taken just seven points from their last seven in Serie A, seriously compromising their Scudetto hopes.

Given this, and given that the first match back after the break is against Juventus, the coach has decided to cut the break short to just two days.
