AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli believes that all three teams at the top of the Serie A table have an equal chance of winning the Serie A title going into the run-in of the season.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN after his team’s 1-0 win away to Cagliari yesterday evening, the Rossoneri coach gave the view that it will be a completely balanced title race on the return from the international break, with Juventus the potential dark horses.

Inter dropped points against Fiorentina yesterday evening, falling further behind the likes of Milan and Napoli who beat Cagliari and Udinese respectively.

The Nerazzurri are still just six points behind the Rossoneri and three behind the Partenopei, with a game in hand on both, however, while Juventus have been catching up to the trio at the top gradually.

Pioli believes that there is no clear favourite of the trio at the top of the table, while he thinks the Bianconeri should not be ruled out either.

“The top three have a 30% chance of winning the league, and Juventus have 10%,” he said.
