Legendary former Inter, Roma, and Real Madrid forward Antonio Cassano believes that Paulo Dybala would not be the right signing for the Nerazzurri and that they are better of sticking with Alexis Sanchez.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInterNews, Cassano gave the view that the Argentine is not consistent enough to be considered at the top level.

Dybala is set to leave Juventus in the summer transfer window, with a meeting between the club and his representatives earlier today having seen a decisive break.

The Nerazzurri are one of the clubs with the strongest links to the 28-year-old’s signature, though it is far from certain that they will decide to move for him.

Cassano does not feel that it would be a move that would make sense for Inter, and that the best thing would be for them to steer clear of it.

“For me Dybala is not a top-class player, but a player with flashes,” he said. “Juve gave more to Dybala than the other way around, he has never been decisive in the Champions League.”

“Dybala is good in the Italian league but he’s not world-class,” he went on.

“Inter are probably interested in him but I’d keep Alexis Sanchez without a doubt, maybe Marotta is playing his games,” he went on.

“Players like Lautaro, who has just renewed, or Brozovic, who is in talks, what will they say about Dybala, who would arrive aged 29 and then Inter put €8 million euros on the table immediately?” he mused.
