Inter are in pole position to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala on a free transfer this summer, with the Argentine set to leave the Bianconeri.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri are favourites to sign the 28-year-old ahead of the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, and that he prefers to stay in Italy.

Dybala’s representatives met with Juventus today and rejected the club’s offer of a three-year contract extension worth €7 million net per season, a reduction from what he currently earns.

The Argentine looks set to leave the Bianconeri on a free transfer in the summer, and the Nerazzurri as well as Spurs and Atletico are the clubs keenest to sign him.

The Nerazzurri are ready to offer Dybala a five-year deal at the same wages which Juventus have offered, €7 million net per season, but for a five-year duration.

The player appreciates the trust shown in him by the length of the deal offered by Inter, and would be happy to stay in Italian football.
