Inter wing-back Denzel Dumfries has become a prolific outlet for both goals and assists since playing his way into form and into the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven.
Despite playing in a wide defensive role, the 25-year-old’s forward runs, deliveries, and attacking movement have made him a versatile threat, with his equalizer against Fiorentina being his fourth in Serie A for the team.
The Nerazzurri congratulated him on his statistical achievement in a post on their official Instagram account.
They captioned the post, “@ddumfries2 is one of four defenders to have scored at least four goals and provided at least four assists in Europe’s top five leagues this current campaign.”
