Former Inter defender Daniele Adani feels that there is no doubt that the Nerazzurri should take advantage of the chance to sign Paulo Dybala on a free transfer.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInterNews, Adani argued that the Argentine would be an excellent signing and that his high wages would not be a problem for squad harmony.

Dybala is available on a free transfer during the summer transfer window, with yesterday’s contract extension talks between his agents and Juventus having led to a decisive break from the Bianconeri.

Despite the lack of a transfer fee involved, however, a move for the Argentine would not be without its risks, especially the scale of his wages and some of his recurring injury struggles.

However, the availability of the forward represents a major opportunity given his quality, and Adani feels that it’s one that the Nerazzurri must respond to.

“I’d say they should sign him ten times out of ten,” he said. “They can sign him because they believe in him, which Juve did not do.”

“How many titles have Inter won in the last ten years?” he posed. “One last year. “Already this year they are struggling again , which means that after the sale of Lukaku the new signings in attack have slowed down after a good start.”

“Meanwhile, Dybala has won five in a row, all starring for the team,” he pointed out. “So if a team aims to win the title, how can they not consider signing such a decisive player?”

“For his status, the €2 million extra he would earn in salary would not be a problem for the dressing room,” he predicted, “the players would understand.”
