Inter-bound goalkeeper Andre Onana has been involved in a car accident in Cameroon, but he was not injured in the incident.
This according to Cameroonian news outlet Camfoot.com, who report that the 25-year-old was involved in the accident whilst travelling by car from Yaounde to Douala to join up with his national team.
Onana, who is set to join Inter from Ajax on a free transfer during the summer, is linking up with the Cameroonian national team for their two-legged 2022 World Cup qualifying playoff against Algeria.
The keeper was travelling by car with friends when their car was struck by another vehicle near Sombo, close to Puma.
Onana was not injured in the crash, though one of his friends did sustain minor injuries.
It remains to be seen how the accident will affect Onana’s participation in the fixtures with his national team during the break, though he is not injured.
