Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi could decide to leave one of Lautaro Martinez or Edin Dzeko out of the starting eleven to face Juventus in the Serie A clash after the international break.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the lack of chemistry shown by the pair in recent matches could lead the coach to look at other possibilities.

Martinez and Dzeko have been Inter’s first-choice starting duo in attack for much of the season despite some contributions from the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Joaquin Correa at various points.

However, neither of the two have looked particularly incisive in front of goal in recent matches, and for this reason there is every chance that Sanchez or Correa could be trusted to start against the Bianconeri to give different qualities to the attack.

The Juventus clash is set to be a decisive one in the context of the Nerazzurri’s season, and the coach could take a gamble to get the best out of it.
