Inter are wary of the persistent injury problems which have affected Paulo Dybala in recent years as they make the decision on whether to sign him on a free transfer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are in pole position to sign the 28-year-old but that his physical condition is their main worry.

Juventus have decided not to extend the contract of Dybala, with the injury struggles particularly of the past two seasons thought to be a major factor in their decision.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta holds the Argentine in high regard and would be very interested in the possibility of moving for him, but the Nerazzurri still have significant reservations about his physical condition which they would want to further evaluate.

According to Tuttosport, even though there is also major interest from Atletico Madrid and clubs in the Premier League, the player’s clear preference is to stay in Italy and he could even outright reject offers from clubs outside Serie A.
