Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and defender Stefan de Vrij are set to make their returns to full training with the rest of the squad starting next Tuesday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri duo will spend the rest of this week training individually but then return to training at the start of next week.

De Vrij and Brozovic both missed out on the Nerazzurri’s past two matches, Serie A draws with the likes of Torino and Fiorentina, through calf injuries which they picked up in the team’s Champions League semi-final second leg away to Liverpool.

The club are not rushing either back, but hope to have them fully rested and recovered when they return to full training.

The timeline looks very optimistic that both de Vrij and Brozovic should be fully fit by the time the Nerazzurri return to the pitch after the international break.
