Inter are not in any hurry to return to contract extension talks with the likes of Samir Handanovic, Ivan Perisic, or Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will try and advance the negotiations in due time.

Perisic’s current deal expires at the end of June, and the club reportedly have an offer on the table worth €4 million net per season on a one-year deal with the option for a further season.

The 33-year-old is hoping for a guaranteed two-year deal worth €5 million net per season, what he currently earns.

Meanwhile, captain Samir Handanovic also sees his current deal run out at the end of the current campaign, but the Nerazzurri could try and convince him to stay on by offering him the possibility of another season in the starting spot in goal.

Lastly, Skriniar’s current deal runs out at the end of June 2023, but the club are determined to secure the Slovak’s future so that they can build around him.

All of these are players who the Nerazzurri are determined to stay on with, but they are not going to rush to get the negotiations concluded.
