Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is pleased to have signed a contract extension with Inter until the end of June 2026.

Speaking via the club’s official site after the extension had been officially confirmed, the Croat gave his thoughts on the new deal and expressed pride at continuing to represent the Nerazzurri for seasons to come.

Inter officially confirmed earlier today that Brozovic has renewed, with his deal that had been set to expire at the end of June extended until the end of June 2026.

The 29-year-old is an important player, and the club showed their faith in him by handing him the significant extension.

The midfielder had helped the Nerazzurri to win the Scudetto last season, while this time around he’s played a big role in another potential title push as well as qualification for the knockout rounds of the Champions League.

He is proud to play for the club and to commit his future for seasons to come.

“I’m very happy to have extended my contract with Inter,” he said. “I really wanted this extension and the club knew it.”

“I have never wanted to speak to any other team out of respect for Inter and the fans,” he went on. “I thank the club and I must reiterate, today I’m really happy.”

He explained that “I’ve always told my agents that I wouldn’t want to speak to any other club unless Inter told me they didn’t want to renew my contract.”

“I’m very proud to be part of this group and this club which has a great history,” the midfielder reflected. “It has always been an honour and a privilege to play for Inter.”

He added that “I’ve always respected and loved this club, and this will always be the case. I get along very well with the coach and my teammates, and I’m happy to defend these colours for a long time and continue to be a part of this project.”

“We are determined to try to reach new important milestones together,” Brozovic said. “We always play to win and this is our only goal.”

“I am sure of one thing,” he continued, “we will give everything we have to win the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia. We will work more each day, because only through work, giving out all, and determination in training can certain goals be attained.”

Asked whether he expected a very positive reaction to the news from fans, the 29-year-old replied “Yes, because I have a great relationship with Inter fans who have always loved me. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and celebrate with them.”
