Inter are planning to move on to discussing defender Milan Skriniar’s contract extension now that they have officially confirmed a new deal for Marcelo Brozovic.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are working to secure the 27-year-old’s future past the end of June 2023 when his current deal expires.

Earlier today, Inter confirmed what had long been predicted, that Brozovic would extend his contract past the end of June of this year, signing a new four-year deal which takes him until the end of June 2026 at the club.

According to Sky, however, Inter are not stopping there, and are hoping that Skriniar will be the next player to commit his future.

The Slovak defender has become a key figure in the Nerazzurri’s backline, and the club are hoping to have him  in the team well past the end of his current contract in the summer after this one.
