Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has made clear that striker Gianluca Scamacca and midfielder Davide Frattesi will only leave for a suitable offer amid interest in the pair from Inter.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, the executive explained that while the Neroverdi would be ready to part ways with the players, it would only be for a sizable fee.

Scamacca and Frattesi are two of Inter’s major targets for the summer transfer window, and their interest in the players has been confirmed by Carnevali in the past.

However, nothing concrete has yet come from negotiations for their sales, and the question of whether the Nerazzurri would be able to make the moves for them financially viable is up in the air.

Both players would be available during the window, but only for the right price, according the the club’s CEO.

Carnevali stated that “I’m open to talking with anyone about them. We don’t let players go for cheap, in the right way.”

He went on that “There have to be suitable offers for them, we won’t deprive ourselves of four or five players for cheap.”
