Inter are likely to sell one big player from the squad this summer in order to strengthen their financial position, according to a report in the Italian print media today.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, it will not be easy for Inter to keep all of the big names in the team and continue offering the new contract as well as strengthening the squad in the transfer window.
That is why it is not hard to imagine the club selling one prominent player in the team to help balance the situation.
It is not mentioned within the report if one player is more likely to leave than any other but based on previous transfer stories, Stefan de Vrij or Lautaro Martinez seem to be plausible candidates.
Both would demand a fee that is attractive to Inter, especially the striker who would not go for less than €70 million.
