Long-term Inter target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could be set to leave Lazio in the summer as the club struggles with its financial predicament, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Il Messaggero, the new liquidity index rules are likely to cause Lazio some serious issues over the summer.

That will lead to the club having to sell at least one key member of the team. Given he has been linked with multiple teams for many years, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could be the man to depart.

Inter are one of many teams that have been interested in the Serbian for some time but Lazio owner Claudio Lotito is unlikely to accept a bid of less than €80 million.

Juventus, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain have all been linked with the midfielder which means he would likely fetch a very high fee.

Whether any club feels this is the right time for the move or not is a different matter.
