Inter fans chose Denzel Dumfries as the best performer in the recent 1-1 draw with Fiorentina in Serie A, according to a report in the Italian media.

In a poll that was run by FCInternews, the Dutch wing-back who scored Inter’s goal in the 1-1 draw last weekend received the most votes from the Nerazzurri fans.

He received a very impressive 50.32% of the vote for his goal as well as his overall performance in which he tried his best to be an attacking outlet for Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Second place in the poll went to the Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic. He received 9.89% of the vote and in second place it was Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal who got 6.34%.

Denzel Dumfries arrived at Inter from PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie at the very end of the summer transfer window.

It took him some to adjust to life in Italy but he is now a regular starter.
