New Inter defender Robin Gosens is aiming to start his first game for Inter when they face Juventus next weekend, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported today by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the German wing back has been working very hard in training to show Simone Inzaghi that he has what it takes to start against Juventus in what will be Inter’s biggest game of the season so far.

Robin Gosens joined the club at the end of the January transfer window but when he signed he was already injured. It was the same injury that kept him out for basically all of the season.

He has since recovered and played a combined 85 minutes for Inter when coming off the bench. He wants to Juventus game to be the one where he takes the next step and starts instead of the Croatian Ivan Perisic.
