Inter are not worried about competition by city rivals AC Milan or any other teams to sign Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca during the summer transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri feel that the 23-year-old is determined to join in the summer and has already expressed this to them.

Inter have not yet made an offer that Sassuolo are ready to accept for Scamacca, with the Nerazzurri’s preference being for a loan with an obligation to buy the striker permanently, and including players going the other way.

The Neroverdi are hoping for an outright cash offer to sign the permanent basis, and so an agreement has not yet been possible.

AC Milan have emerged as suitors for the young striker, and they have reportedly been trying to work towards a double deal for him as well as Neroverdi winger Domenico Berardi.

However, the Nerazzurri feel that the player is convinced that an Inter move is the right one for his career and are hoping that this will put pressure on his club to facilitate a deal.
