Inter Primavera midfielder Cesare Casadei made his debut for the Italian Under-19 team today, and the young midfielder marked his debut with a goal.

Speaking to the press after the match, as reported by FCInterNews, Casadei expressed his happiness at being able to score on the occasion of his first cap, and especially at the fact that the team were able to win against Finland’s Under-19s.

Casadei has been one of the standout players of the Nerazzurri’s Primavera side this season, and his good form at club level has been reflected in a call-up for the Italy Under-19 team.

The 19-year-old scored the fourth goal in an emphatic 4-0 win by the Azzurri over their Finnish counterparts, and he will be hoping that it is only his first of many.

The win takes Casadei and his teammates one step closer to qualifying for the Under-19 Euros, and he will hope that he can shine at the finals.

He described the goal as “A great feel , but above all I’m happy that the team won. And now we go on to face Belgium, we will give everything we have to earn qualification for the European Championship finals.”
