Inter midfielder Matias Veino has said that he is happy and proud to be Uruguayan after they secured their qualification to the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
The midfielder is not with the squad at the moment but they beat Peru 1-0 at home recently which means they will definitely be taking part in the World Cup this winter.
The fringe player at Inter captioned his Instagram post of himself watching the team on TV with: “Happy and proud to be Uruguayan! Once again this group knew how to overcome adversities! Congratulations to all who were part of this long journey! We will meet soon.”
