Inter could move for Hellas Verona midfielder Antonin Barak to reinforce their midfielder if they are to miss out on Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi in the summer.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, who report that the Nerazzurri have identified the Czech midfielder as an alternative to the Neroverdi man.

Frattesi remains the main target in the centre of the park for Inter, but they are considering their options should they be unable to sign him.

Barak’s performances this campaign have impressed, with the Nerazzurri increasingly interested in signing him, though he would not come cheap, with the Gialloblu valuing him at no less than €20 million.

In addition to the Nerazzurri, the likes of city rivals AC Milan as well as clubs in the Bundesliga and the Premier League are also following Barak, so it remains to be seen whether Inter would be able to win the race for him.
