Inter are considering a move for Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 22-year-old is one of the main names on the Nerazzurri’s list as a potential backup to Marcelo Brozovic for next season.
Signing a players with the right qualities to deputize for Brozovic has become one of the primary items on Inter’s agenda for the summer, with no player currently in the squad really a like-for-like replacement for the Croat.
Kamara has impressed with his displays for Marseille over the past few seasons, and with his contract set to expire at the end of June a number of clubs have taken an interest in him on a free transfer.
The Nerazzurri are among the Frenchman’s suitors, although it remains to be seen if they will be able to beat out the competition to sign him should they move.
