Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara has made up his mind to join Atletico Madrid on a free transfer this summer despite interest from Inter and a number of other clubs.

This according to French news outlet Le10sport.com, who report that the 22-year-old has chosen Atletico ahead of the likes of Inter, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Southampton.

Kamara is set to depart Marseille this summer, with the Frenchman’s current deal running out at the end of June and no plans to extend his contract.

The Nerazzurri have been linked with a possible move for the midfielder, who could be seen as a target to back up Marcelo Brozovic in the squad going into next season, with the Gazzetta dello Sport reporting that they are interested.

However, Kamara looks to have already made up his mind, with le10sport reporting that he has turned down a contract extension offer from Marseille worth €5 million net per season in order to join the Colchoneros.
