Former Genoa CEO Giorgio Perinetti believes that while Juventus forward Paulo Dybala could join Inter during the summer transfer window, that is far from the only realistic destination for him.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FootballNews24, via FCInter1908, the executive gave his analysis of where the Argentine could end up ahead of next season.

Inter are one of the clubs most strongly linked to a move for Dybala now that it is confirmed that the 28-year-old will leave the Bianconeri at the end of his current contract and be available on a free transfer this summer.

However, many clubs have taken notice that the Argentine is available, and as Perinetti explained, the player would consider a number of them as serious possibilities.

It remains to be seen where Dybala goes in the end, but it will not likely be a straightforward path for any one club who are aiming to bring him in, including Inter.

“Inter are a real possibility regardless of rumours,” Perinetti said. “From what I recall, however, it seems to me that the player prefers d to move to La Liga, even more than to the Premier League.”

“But I repeat,” he went on, “the Nerazzurri option should not be discounted, the Argentine is happy staying in Italy, and with the sale of Lautaro the same club could make a significant capital gain by then focusing on a high-level player to replace such a big departure.”
