Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi believes that his team can get the boost that they need in the Serie A title race by beating Juventus on Sunday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri coach believes that it’s possible to get a win and that this could be the moment that tilts the race in his side’s favour.

Inter have not enjoyed their football since the beginning of February, dipping in form and falling behind their rivals in the Scudetto chase.

However, this could virtually be cancelled out with three points taken away from the Allianz Stadium over the weekend, which would also provide a big boost in confidence and show that his players are dealing with the pressure well.

Inzaghi has beaten Juventus on their own ground before, with a double from Ciro Immobile helping Lazio to a 2-1 comeback win over the Bianconeri in 2017.

Moreover, the coach has beaten the Bianconeri in three Supercoppa Italiana finals, twice with the Biancocelesti and once this year with the Nerazzurri.

It will take a lot for Inter to secure their first away win at Juventus in a decade, but Inzaghi believes that they can do it and that it would be just the thing needed to jump-start their title charge in the decisive weeks of the campaign.
