Inter may have to part ways with one of the top players in their squad in order to accommodate the signing of Paulo Dybala on a free transfer this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that striker Lautaro Martinez would be the likeliest player to make way for the 28-year-old.

Dybala would be available on a free transfer given that his contract with Juventus is expiring, but his wages would still be a significant investment, especially given that the Nerazzurri are trying to scale back their wage bill.

Inter have already taken preparatory steps to try and convince the Argentine to join, but they are facing competition especially in the form of La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

Time is not on the Nerazzurri’s side in deciding whether it would be worth it to make a move for the Argentine worth it, and they will have to formulate their plan soon if they are to successfully move for him.
